Eric Hunt

In 1975 Eric Hunt started working in the heavy equipment industry. He began working at local John Deere dealerships where he started at the bottom steam cleaning tractors, painting, and taking care of the mechanical needs of the equipment. He then moved up to selling parts, and eventually, to selling equipment. During those years he learned the equipment and his customers’ needs inside and out.

In 1986 he and his wife Vicki began their own business and named it Hunt Tractor, Inc. After 18 years of building a successful business, he sold Hunt Tractor. With the desire to serve customers the same promise to deliver high quality used equipment, Eric opened a new equipment business in 2010 and named it American Tractor Co.

Eric takes pride in genuinely listening to the customer and helping them figure out exactly which machine is best suited for the type of work that they plan to do. He is passionate about finding a good usable piece at a fair price that is equipped and tailored to fit the customer’s needs.



Cameron Noble

Cameron first started in the equipment business in 2002 while working for Eric at Hunt Tractor, Inc. a couple of years before the sale of the business. In 2006, Cameron became involved with the attachment manufacturing side of the equipment business in Reno, NV while working alongside Wedgelock and Norco Attachments. For several years, he worked primarily as the National Sales/Product Manager for Wedgelock, and as the Northwest Regional Manager/Coupler Product Manager for Norco. Cameron has gained vast technical knowledge and understanding of the attachment business, and a specialty in regards to excavator and wheel loader attachments.

Cameron returned to Oregon, and heavy equipment sales, when he was offered his position at American Tractor in 2011. Since then he has worked hard to provide the Rogue Valley with good equipment and service. He is dedicated to selling a high-quality product and is committed to serving his customers with honesty, respect, and a genuine interest in their specific needs. Cameron is ready to do the same for you.



Derek Noble

Derek Noble began working at American Tractor, Inc in 2016. Before coming to work for American Tractor, he acquired a wealth of experience in multiple fields, including auto industry sales and cell phone sales. This experience has helped to foster his dedication to adapting to a customer’s particular needs and assisting them in finding the best fit for their unique situation.

While Derek is relatively newer to working with heavy equipment, he is continuing to learn the business and has a strong desire to help customers however he can. He specializes in finding a wide variety of machine attachments, but he can also help you locate the quality equipment & attachments you need.
